About the job

For our fast-moving digital health company, we are looking for an ML engineer with experience in Large Language Models (LLMs). You'll develop and deploy innovative models to enhance healthcare solutions. Responsibilities

  • Collect, clean, and preprocess data to ensure it's suitable for training machine learning models.

  • Keep up with the state of the art, develop and train machine learning models using open-source frameworks

  • Optimize model performance through tuning hyperparameters and validate models using appropriate metrics to ensure accuracy and reliability.

  • Integrate machine learning models into the product infrastructure and deploy them to production environments, ensuring they run efficiently.

Qualifications

  • Master’s (with 3-5 years of experience) or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or a related field with a focus on machine learning, artificial intelligence or related field.

  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, C++ , and proficiency in relevant libraries and frameworks for machine learning (PyTorch).

  • Previous experience working with LLM is highly desired.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, including clinicians and healthcare professionals.

  • Knowledge of MLOps or machine learning system design is optional but highly desired
