Forward Deployed AI Engineer

About the job

In this role you'll work directly with hospitals and healthcare organizations to deploy our AI solutions, from scoping what they actually need, to building and integrating the technical solution, to making sure it works in practice.

You'll be in the room with clinicians, IT managers, and procurement teams, translating messy real-world problems into working systems. A typical day does not exist, some days you will be refining prompts and debugging API integrations; others you'll be running a demo or helping a client understand why their data isn't formatted the way they thought it was.

You'll need to be comfortable with ambiguity, context-switching, and the reality that clinical environments don't behave like clean datasets.

About you

• Solid grasp of LLM fundamentals, capabilities and (more importantly) limitations

• Can write clean, production-ready Python; you understand APIs, version control, and why error handling matters

• Communication skills, ability to explain technical trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders

• Dutch fluency required

• A background in healthcare, medical informatics would be appreciated
